Inside a Volcano: The Rise of Icelandic Football
The Icelandic Eruption tells the story of the golden generation in Icelandic football. By beating all the odds they became the smallest nation of all time to reach the finals in one of footballs main events. We see the players as young boys dreaming about putting their names in the sports history, which they achieve with this remarkable story. For the past two years Sölvi Tryggvason and Sævar Guðmundsson have followed the national team throughout the qualification process for the Euros 2016. This is the story about Iceland, this small nation, which surprised the world with this historic sporting achievement.
